Peanut Butter and Chocolate Overnight Oats

Do you find it hard to find time in the morning to prepare a healthy, nourishing breakfast? Yes? Well, overnight oats might just be the perfect breakfast for you! Do you like peanut butter and chocolate? Yes? Then, these Peanut Butter and Chocolate Overnight Oats are definitely for you! Simply prepare them in the evening, put them in the fridge overnight, and in the morning, grab a spoon and breakfast is served.

Ingredients

3/4 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)

1/2 cup oats

1/3 cup vanilla Greek-style yogurt (I like Siggi's vanilla yogurt)

1 tbsp flax meal

1/2 tsp vanilla

1.5 tbsp all-natural peanut butter

1.5 tbsp cacao powder

1/2 - 1 tbsp real maple syrup

Toppings: hemp hearts, cacao nibs, banana slices, pumpkin seeds, walnuts

Mix all ingredients (except toppings) together in a bowl. Transfer to an air-tight container and store overnight in the fridge. In the morning, add your favourite toppings and enjoy cold, or if you prefer your oats warm (like me!), reheat slightly in the microwave and then add your toppings. Overnight oats are such a time saver in the morning, and a great way to fill you up with protein, fibre and healthy fats. Enjoy!
